Original CD Emulator is an easy-to-use application that allows you to create virtual CDROM drives. In this manner you can run applications from the virtual drive directly , e.g. play games, listen to music, etc. The program helps you avoid the damage of your original CDs. A drive letter to each virtual drive is assigned: drive letters can be changed.
You can mount up to 21 virtual drives instantly without restarting. Virtual drives can be also mounted as CDRW drives. You can change the speed (from 30 X to 240 X) that you need to read the information. Among other features you can use are: convertion from CDs/DVDs to ISO images and vice versa, convertion from CD images to ISO images, and burning CD images onto CDs. It also supports images created by other programs.
In the main window appear the virtual drives; you can group files by creating new groups. The information showed for files inserted is: image file name, size, type and created date. After installing the program restart is needed. OS supported Windows 98, Me, NT, 2000, 2003, XP, and Vista. |
